Our School Council is an advisory body whose members work together to support and enrich the learning of the children in our school. The members of the Council include parents, school and community representatives. Elections for School Council representatives are held in September each year. The School Council provides advice to the school principal and, where appropriate, to the school board on a variety of matters including: the school profile, a principal profile, a fundraising policy and a student code of behaviour.
All meetings are held in person on the second Tuesday of every month and are open to parents or guardians of Morrisburg Public School students. We look forward to working together! If you have questions about how to get involved, please contact us.
The School Council for 2024-2025 is comprised of the following:
Co-Chair: Natalie Coutu
Co-Chair: Bridget Blais
Parent Representatives: Shawna Vaughan, Kylie McManus, Ron Wood, Jaime Casselman and Sarah Henderson
